We currently seeking a person who can hit the ground running with strong knowledge of Payroll. Suit someone who has and an inquisitive nature and can work in a fast paced environment. The role encompasses supporting the HR Manager in on and off boarding new employees and other tasks.

Tasks & responsibilities

Complete ownership and responsibility for the weekly payroll across eight entities with growth for more.

Maintain up to date payroll and employee records.

Handle and resolve pay related queries and discrepancies.

Assist the recruitment process and the onboarding and offboarding of employees.

Provide clear and accurate advice and support the senior leadership team.

Process Monthly Child Support, Superannuation, Payroll Tax and PAYG

Arrange Co-Invest lodgment and payment.

Sound knowledge of Awards and WorkCover.

Reconciliation of payroll liabilities.

Manage uniform distribution and ordering

Qualifications & experience

Minimum 3 years’ Payroll experience in a similar industry

Experience completing multiple weekly payrolls across various industries.

Experience in a medium to large company

Pronto, MYOB, Xero, Deputy & Humanforce experience preferred.

Exposure to HR practices or willingness to learn

Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills with the ability to deliver on deadlines, work under pressure and work autonomously and as part of a team.

Team player with good relationship building skills.

Hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday onsite in Pakenham (No WFH available) Some overtime may be required to meet deadlines
