Ships Master

Locations Required- Port hedland & Newcastle

Qualships Pty Ltd is a highly specialised Marine service operators undertaking all forms of marine surveying services including cargo related vessel surveying, Internal audits, Hull and machinery repairs electrical repairs and troubleshooting, technical inspections and report writing.

Duties:

· Carry out Inspection to align the ship for various Audits / Surveys and Inspections.

· Safety culture implementation and customization with various Clients.

· Monitor safe loading, discharging, supervising and carriage of various cargos as per standard prescribed in IMSBC code.

· Carry out ISM/ISPS/MLC audits of the vessels.

· Support the onboard management support for various systems onboard for effective port operations.

· Carry out Audits and survey management for various inspections and surveys along with Class surveyors

· Carry out pre purchase inspections

· Carry out training onboard at the management level on ships

· Carry out incident investigation on ships

· Carry out inspections on the ships in compliance with the terminal requirements.

What we are looking for:

· Current Certificate of Competency is required

· Have at least 2 years’ experience in a related role

· Degree level qualified

· Experience in marine industry

· Have excellent problem solving abilities

· Be punctual, enthusiastic, and hardworking

· Fully Vaccinated

Salary: $120,000.00- 150,000 per year

Schedule:

· 8 hours shift
