We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Meat & Mingle at the Ocean Shores Tavern in Ocean Shores, NSW 2438.

In this full- time position at Meat & Mingle (Proprietor Asaf Dressler), you will be responsible for:

preparing and delivering high-quality, creative meals that delight our guests and enhance their overall dining experience.

What you'll be doing

* Preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes from our menu

* Ensuring all meals are cooked to the highest standards of quality and presentation

* Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing

recipes

* Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient work environment in the kitchen

* Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Assisting with stock management and ordering of necessary supplies

What we're looking for

* At least 2 years of proven experience as a Chef in a hospitality or restaurant setting

* Industry qualifications are an advantage

* Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

* Well Groomed individual

* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities; punctuality and reliability

* A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
