About your new role!

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Financial Accountant to join the business on an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension beyond the initial term. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in the month-end close process and general ledger integrity, while supporting a broad mix of financial reporting and compliance work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
• Performing general ledger reconciliations and investigating variances
• Managing and reconciling fixed asset movements and capital expenditure
• Supporting the preparation of BAS, FBT and other regulatory filings
• Assisting with external audit and year-end requirements
• Analysing inventory movements and stock-related transactions
• Contributing to rebate processing and supplier invoicing
• Liaising with regional finance teams and business stakeholders

About you!

• At least 3 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant-related role
• CPA, CA or similar professional qualification
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• A proactive and reliable team player who takes ownership of tasks and deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• Immediately available or can start with short notice
