About the role

Top end roofing in Darwin, NT are seeking a motivated and experienced Roof Plumber or Carpenter to join their team. This is a full-time position based in Darwin, offering competitive pay and benefits.

As a Roof Plumber or Carpenter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of roofs and associated plumbing systems. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, maintaining and repairing various roofing systems, including metal, tile and shingle roofs
• Carrying out plumbing work related to roof drainage and water systems
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing roofing and plumbing issues
• Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and provide quality workmanship
• Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Plumbing or Carpentry
• At least 3 years of experience in the roofing or plumbing industry
• Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
