About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified Fire Electrician to join our fire protection team. If you're a licensed electrician looking to specialise in a growing niche, this is your chance to step into an exciting field with excellent job security and training. As part of our team, you’ll be working across commercial and industrial sites to install fire detection alarm systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Install, alter, commission, and service fire detection & alarm systems (FIP, EWIS, smoke detectors).

Troubleshoot faults in fire safety systems, perform repairs and alterations as required.

Provide technical support and advice to clients and colleagues on fire safety systems and electrical matters.

Work across construction sites, fit-outs, and maintenance jobs.

Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Ensure all work meets Australian Standards (AS3000, AS1670, S009, etc.)

Work safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (essential)

Cablers licence

EWP Licenses

White Card (Construction Induction)

Valid driver’s licence

Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces with appropriate qualifications.

Strong electrical fault-finding and installation skills

Excellent attention to detail, work ethic, and team attitude

Strong knowledge of electrical principles and fire safety codes (e.g., AS 1670, AS1668, S009, AS 3000).

Programming experience with fire panels, such as Ampac, Notifier, Panasonic, etc.
