Our client a leader in the Waste Industry is looking for a Laboratory Technician to work at their Wetherill Park facility. This position is a one person position. The successful candidate will work 8 hours per day Monday to Friday. This is a 4 to 6 week assignment.
Initially the hours will be 8am to 4pm during training but will be flexible after that.
Job Description
Daily sampling of plant outputs
Sample testing to include Moisture, Ash and Calorific Value
Equipment Calibrations
Result reporting and trending of data
Other tasks include Water sampling and Fines sampling
Adhere to site Health and Safety
Requirements
Experience Laboratory Technician
Ability to work independently
Computer skills
Sound communication skills
Own transport due to location
