Vanguard Health is seeking a proactive Digital Content Specialist to take ownership of our digital content efforts and guide our leaders across the business to digital success. The Digital Content Specialist plays a key role in building and managing Vanguard Health’s digital presence and capability – predominantly through social media and our website.

Through storytelling, platform oversight, and content execution, you’ll help us connect meaningfully with healthcare professionals, clients and key stakeholders – cultivating trust, engagement and growth. The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for all digital content initiatives across the organisation. Working closely with our senior managers, program and recruitment teams, you will lead end-to-end digital content efforts that strengthen our brand, grow our talent and client pipelines, and bring our thought leadership to life across multiple channels.

You'll guide and support business areas with campaign strategy and execution, all while ensuring digital performance is continuously optimised through data and insights.

Platform Management: Oversee day-to-day management of Vanguard Health’s website and social media accounts, ensuring content is current, user-friendly and aligned with brand standards. Key responsibilities are to:

Plan, create and manage multi-channel digital content across social media, linkedin, web, email, along with exploring the option of utilising paid media ensuring content is easy to find, accurate and relevant to the intended audience

Lead the digital content strategy, translating business goals into compelling digital campaigns

Champion our organisation and corporate brand across every touchpoint—visuals, voice, and messaging

Engage with our community and followers through social media on the Vanguard Health and IRIS linkedin, facebook and Instagram pages

Optimise the Vanguard Health website and landing pages for SEO, engagement, and conversion. It will be your responsibility to maintain, review and update the Vanguard Health website as necessary

Campaign Integration:

Enable campaigns, programs of work, and performance objectives through targeted digital content – ensuring timely execution and message consistency across platforms.

Guide internal stakeholders through campaign briefing, content planning, and performance reporting

Content Management and Execution:

Maintain and deliver a structured digital content calendar aligned with divisional priorities, sector events, and commercial strategies – publishing and integrating across all digital platforms.

Continue to build and maintain a library of photos and videos for use across Vanguard Health marketing, media and communications content

Oversee multimedia production (videos, testimonials, infographics) and digital asset management

SEO Optimisation:

Apply foundational search engine optimisation practices to page structure, copy, and metadata – enhancing Vanguard Health’s visibility in relevant search contexts.

Digital Performance Tracking:

Manage a lightweight reporting framework that tracks engagement and reach across all digital platforms – social, website and email – turning insights into actionable recommendations.

Provide insights and regular reports to the Senior Management Team on our digital performance.

Community Engagement Responsiveness:

Proactively participate in online conversations, responding to relevant comments, messages, or sector news – building Vanguard Health’s presence as an engaged, thoughtful leader in the healthcare space.

Lead and support aspects of industry events, expos and other corporate events.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results driven person who has the following skills and experience:

Experience in a digital marketing or content role within the health, recruitment or talent acquisition sector

Strong skills in social media, content management systems, email platforms, and basic graphic design (Canva or similar). This, along with confidence navigating and posting within mainstream digital platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, website CMS or similar)—with an understanding of how tone, timing, and formats shift across channels.

Excellent copywriting skills and editorial judgment to ensure every post, page, and response is polished, on-brand, and purposeful.

Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies and campaign objectives that deliver measurable outcomes and cohesive content strategies that support engagement and conversion.

Confidence working with senior managers and translating business goals into digital content solutions

In-depth knowledge of SEO, digital analytics, campaign optimisation and comfort interpreting platform performance metrics to guide content decisions—balancing creative instincts with insight-driven refinements.

Competence using Microsoft operating systems and software such as Teams, Word, and Excel

Demonstrated track record of using data to inform strategic decision making

Ability to work across teams—particularly with recruitment and leadership—adapting content approaches based on feedback, urgency, and voice.

A strong sense of brand guardianship, ensuring that all content reinforces Vanguard Health’s position as a credible, values-led organisation in the public domain.

Preferred experience

2–4 years’ experience in a digital content, marketing, or communications role—ideally within healthcare, recruitment, or purpose-driven organisations.

Demonstrated history of managing organisational social media accounts and website content, including publishing, editing, and engaging with external audiences.

Proven experience translating strategic goals or campaign objectives into targeted digital content across multiple platforms.

Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. Squarespace, WordPress), design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express), and scheduling platforms (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite).

Exposure to basic digital analytics and performance tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta/LinkedIn insights)—with confidence using data to guide content refinement.

Experience working collaboratively with internal teams (e.g. leadership, recruitment, operations) to support integrated content strategies.

Prior experience working in and/or alongside government at a state or federal level.
