Andcott Pty Ltd is a family operated irrigation and contracting business, specialising in cotton production, cereal hay production and contract cotton harvesting. Andcott operates its business on the "Dawson River" at Theodore, Central Queensland, with multiple farms surrounding the town. Andcott prides itself on a safe and enjoyable workplace with all staff heavily involved and interact regularly with farm managers.

Qualifications & experience

• 5+ years farm experience
• Flood Irrigation experience desirable
• Tractor operating experience necessary
• Mechanical experience to repair and maintain farm machinery
• Driver license essential
• Experience operating John Deere Round Bale Cotton Pickers favorable

Tasks & responsibilities

• All aspects of cotton production including bed formation, planting, cultivating & harvesting
• Winter cereal hay production including cutting, raking and baling
• Operating and maintaining flood irrigation systems
• Operating modern JD tractors with GPS technology
• Servicing and repairing farm machinery, pumps and equipment
