IronMerge People are currently recruiting Experienced FIFO Kitchenhands/Utility Staff for our casual pool roles in Western Australia. These roles are commencing ASAP and successful applicants will be starting as soon as they complete their mobilisation.

These roles are casual employment & FIFO from Perth airport and usually a 2:1 swing or adhoc leave cover :

• Immediate starts once onboarded
• 11- hour workdays
• Flights from Perth – ONLY WA residents will be considered.
• Weekly pays on a Thursday

Key Responsibilities
As a FIFO Kitchen hand & Utility:

• Kitchen and Dining Room service areas – cleaning, potwash, food handling & food preparation as required by site
• Work in other departments as required – Housekeeping, Minesite Cleaning, Retail and Tavern
• Able to work up to 12-hour shifts with a rotating roster of 1 week working days and then a week of nights if required
• Able to work & stay in remote environments which might mean extreme heat or cold at different times of the year
• Able to multi-task and assist in other areas without issue
• Able to understand your responsibilities and work safely

Essential Criteria to Apply:

• A minimum of 6 months recent & proven FIFO or DIDO experience in Australia within a kitchen or utility role is essential
• Currently Reside in Perth, WA - Interstate or overseas applicants are not supported at this time
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or have full Australian working rights for a minimum of 6 months validity on your current visa
• Able to use current technology such as smartphones, tablets and apps
• Flexible to work any roster onsite including overnight shifts if required
• Flexible to work other departments if requested or work shared rosters
• Able to pass an extensive pre-employment medical & drug screen
• Requirement for a new drug screen every 28 days maybe required
• Have a current & clear Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check less than 6 months old or willing to obtain one
• Able to complete all required online and in person Inductions
• Nationally accredited RSA or willing to obtain one if required
• Forklift Ticket (Desirable)
