Growth has created the requirement for a career-focused professional to take ownership of the procurement function across this privately-owned, multi-site provider of health-based services. With a strong values-led culture, they play an essential role in supporting Australians through high-quality, service-oriented care.

The GM Operations has built a solid foundation for you to take over the procurement function and drive it through its next stage of evolution. You’ll be provided every opportunity to refine, customise and make the function yours in this highly visible, partnership-focused role.

You’ll lead all aspects of purchasing across the group, from clinical consumables and pharmaceuticals, through to food services, hygiene, and facility maintenance. You’ll define the procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, oversee inventory and logistics, and ensure compliance.

You will be empowered to:

Refine and improve the procurement framework and controls

Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews and relationship management

Ensure regulatory compliance, contract oversight, and procurement risk management

Drive budgets, cost-efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply continuity

Collaborate with site leaders and their section heads for specific needs

Manage supplier performance and monitor internal stakeholder satisfaction

This role is suited to a career focused professional who is ready to make their mark. You’ll work closely with the GM Operations who will hand over and guide you as/if needed. You may have learnt the function in a larger company and ready to step out and up, or perhaps it’s just time for a chance and to take responsibility.

Health or aged care industry experience is a distinct advantage, alongside your proven capability in sourcing, negotiation and supplier management. You will also need your own car to travel between their sites (you will be reimbursed).

Primarily based in the south-east with parking on site and plenty of public transport nearby, you can also work from sites that are located across Melbourne. A competitive $110 - $120k+ super package is aimed at attracting a career-focused professional ready to make their mark.

Apply now, or if you have any questions call Murray Noble on 0413 555 892.
