The Role

As our Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor, you’re the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps the property spotless and stocked. You’ll lead a small but mighty team of housekeepers, cleaners and laundry attendants to ensure our guest rooms, common spaces and linen supplies are always up to standard.

Whether it’s supporting the team, solving issues or keeping operations humming, you’re all about making things run smoothly.

Your day-to-day:

Lead and support the housekeeping and laundry crew to keep everything fresh, clean and guest-ready

Assign daily tasks and room lists to make sure everything runs like clockwork

Inspect rooms, public areas and shared spaces to make sure they meet Drifter standards

Oversee laundry operations - washing, drying, folding, ironing - the whole cycle

Keep linen, amenities and cleaning supplies stocked and organised

Make sure chemical use and equipment maintenance are safe and up to date

Liaise with suppliers for linen deliveries, repairs and the odd last-minute request

Tackle deep cleans, special projects and whatever else needs doing to keep things sparkling

Who We Are Looking For

You’ve got an eye for detail, a calm and collected approach, and experience leading teams in fast-paced environments. You're proactive, organised, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

You lead by example, communicate clearly, and know how to bring out the best in your team. Whether you’re troubleshooting a laundry hiccup or stepping in to support the floor, you’ve got it covered.

Flexibility is key. Our doors are open 24/7 and as a housekeeping supervisor, you may be required to work evenings, weekends or public holidays when needed.
