About the role

ScoliCare Clinics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Wahroonga, NSW. This is a part-time (3 or 4 days per week) role where you will work closely with our patients to develop and implement tailored Scoliosis specific exercise programs that address their specific needs and support their wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

Conducting detailed functional assessments of patients at the Sydney North Clinic.

Delivering expert instruction in tailored scoliosis-specific exercise programs during individual rehabilitation sessions.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient notes and records.

Actively participating in regular multidisciplinary team and clinical meetings.

Contributing to our ongoing research and patient management through diligent data collection.

Promoting ScoliCare and its services and products at scheduled exhibitions, conferences, and events.

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Exercise Physiologist, preferably in a clinical setting

Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering tailored exercise programs for clients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including scoliosis, spinal injuries, and other related disorders

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and adapt programs accordingly

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) or equivalent
