Our client has been around 1990 and is Australia’s largest multi-disciplinary consulting company providing building code, fire & life safety, accessibility and essential safety measures to the construction and development industry. They have offices in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane.

THE ROLE

Our client are seeking a building surveyor to be based at Melbourne Airport.
Their diverse range of projects span across Melbourne, Essendon Fields & Moorabbin Airports. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large scale commercial projects, including retail, offices, industrial warehouses, and aviation developments

ABOUT YOU

• Registration as an Accredited Building Surveyor (Limited/Unlimited), however candidates near to registration will also be considered.
• Commercial building surveying experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the Building Act 1993, Building Regulations 2018, Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.
• A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels.
• Possess a current driving licence.

DUTIES

• BCA assessment and reporting, including carrying out inspections of buildings.
• Attend design meetings and provide regulatory advice.
• Assessment of fire engineering analysis.
• Auditing of buildings / enforcement.
