We have an amazing new opportunity to join our clients Newcastle based team as an Assistant Insurance broker.

This firm have offices in all major capital cities in Australia and are an amazing firm to work for with a fantastic team and great manager.

This opportunity will give someone the opportunity to get into Broking or build upon their existing Broking experience and you will have the opportunity to learn and work on both Commercial and Domestic Insurance products and learn from some of the best Insurance Brokers in Newcastle

The Role

You will be assisting one of the Senior Brokers to help look after their portfolio of Commercial and Domestic clients, you will get involved with renewals, remarketing policies, endorsements, cancellations, sending out and chasing up client declarations, and generally assisting your Senior Broker with all aspects of running their portfolio.

You

Ideally we are looking for someone that has;

One year or more working within the Insurance or Insurance Broking area

A positive attitude

Excellent communication skills

Highly organised

Experience with Winbeat, Sunrise, Office Tech and Market Place would be an advantage but not essential

Tier 1 or 2 in Insurance or Insurance Broking is an advantage but not essential
