HD Mechanic / Field Service

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HD Mechanic / Field Service Technician to join our team in Maddington, WA. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy-duty power generation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime across our operations.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a wide range of Cummins generators

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems

Conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on site and in the workshop

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a heavy diesel mechanic in the power generation, mining or construction industry

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with the maintenance and repair of Cummins generators

Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
