This recruitment drive is your chance to be part of something exciting: shaping new programs, collaborating with industry, and creating real change for our students, communities, and environment.

We’re currently recruiting for two ongoing academic roles (women only campaigns) to support gender diversity in engineering:

  • Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering [link to job] ( Position Description)

Whether you bring emerging research, industry insight, or a passion for innovative teaching, there’s a place here for you to thrive.

The creation of these roles form part of a strategic effort to increase gender diversity within our engineering discipline. Research shows that visible women role models can make a significant impact, building confidence and inspiring women to pursue careers in engineering. Within UniSC’s Athena Swan action plan, we are taking active steps to create a balanced and inclusive academic environment, and this targeted recruitment is a key part of our commitment.

Both roles offer supportive academic environments, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a tangible difference through teaching, research, and engagement aligned with global sustainability goals.
