About the role

Ache Group is seeking a highly experienced Technical Claims Specialist to join our Occupational Rehabilitation team in our Amazing Glebe, NSW office. This full-time role will see you providing technical expertise and support on complex claims, working closely with our physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and case managers to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Provide technical claims oversight and support to the Occupational Rehabilitation team

Review and assess complex claims, offering guidance on appropriate treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies

Liaise with external providers, such as medical specialists and insurers, to coordinate care and resolve issues

Utilise your extensive knowledge of workers' compensation legislation and rehabilitation best practices

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our claims management processes and procedures

Mentor and upskill more junior members of the Occupational Rehabilitation team

What we're looking for

4+ years' experience in a technical claims or case management role within the workers' compensation/occupational rehabilitation sector

In-depth understanding of workers' compensation legislation, policies, and claims management best practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-focused approach

Commitment to providing high-quality client service and achieving positive return-to-work outcomes

Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health or rehabilitation-related discipline, such as physiotherapy or occupational therapy, would be highly regarded
