About Us

Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency of the Department of Regional NSW. We deliver quality, customer-focused services to landholders and communities across the state. Our locally based teams provide expert advice and support across agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services and private native forestry.

We’re there when it matters – on the ground, supporting landholders with knowledge, networks and local experience.

These Project and Programs Officer roles will have a dedicated focus in one of the following teams: Sustainable Agriculture & Plant Biosecurity, Natural Resource Management, or Animal Biosecurity & Welfare.

Your day to day may include:

  • Coordinate and support projects and programs, including planning, documentation, logistics and reporting.
  • Develop, manage and deliver major projects and state-wide programs aligned with LLS priorities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective engagement, communication and reporting.
  • Contribute to project monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement of delivery practices and systems.
  • Help ensure projects and programs are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected quality.

You’ll also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong writing, reporting and organisational skills.
  • A solid grasp of project management practices and documentation.
  • A desire to contribute to better outcomes for NSW’s rural industries and communities.
