Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to support the successful delivery of premium residential projects. Reporting to the Directors and Senior Design & Development Managers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring design intent is maintained throughout all project phases—from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between architects, consultants, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless communication.
Ensure design outcomes align with the overall project vision, budget parameters, and timeline milestones.
Coordinate design reviews, value engineering processes, and design approvals.
Manage and track design documentation through various project stages.
Review design elements to support tendering and procurement processes.
Collaborate with purchasers to prepare apartment upgrade layouts and define scope of works.
Draft and manage design briefs for external consultants.
Assist the construction team in resolving on-site design issues quickly and effectively.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Building Design, Interior Design, Drafting, Engineering Design, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ full-time experience in a design coordination, drafting, or design project support role—preferably within residential or mixed-use developments.
Experience working on complex or large-scale projects, ideally in a luxury setting.
Solution-focused mindset with the ability to balance creativity and practicality.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, with attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) essential.
