Role responsibilities:

• Providing care and assistance in personal care, hoist, manual handling, domestic assistance
• Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.
• Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.
• Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestic assistance, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.

What we’re looking for:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (or equivalent)
• Practical experience in aged or disability care, including personal care, hoisting, manual handling, domestic assistance, and social support
• A compassionate and dependable approach to care
• Current First Aid certification, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and car insurance
• Additional skills such as PEG feeding, AUSLAN proficiency, and experience with behaviours or PBSP are highly regarded
