Position: Bar Attendant (Supervisor)
Location: The Aviator Bar & Café, Port Hedland International Airport, WA
Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per annum (plus super), depending on experience

The Aviator Bar & Café, located inside the Departures Lounge at Port Hedland International Airport, offers travellers a fast, friendly service of modern Australian cuisine, coffee, cold beverages (including alcoholic drinks), and light meals. We pride ourselves on maintaining a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment.

Key Duties:

Serve customers in a professional and timely manner

Supervise and train other food and beverage staff

Ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements

Take orders, and prepare and serve great coffee drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, frappe etc.) and alcoholic beverages to patrons

Ensure proper handling of the bar’s equipment (coffee machine, fridges, ice machine, dishwasher etc.)

Perform routine cleaning on the coffee machine

Clean bar area and benches and maintain bar area to statutory health standards

Assist with managing stock levels of alcoholic beverages and coffee supplies, and cash handling

Assist with rostering and day-to-day operations

Requirements:

At least 1 year experience in a licensed venue or in a supervisory role
RSA certification

Approved Manager (MLP1) qualification (or be willing to obtain it)

Strong customer service and organisational skills

Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays

Chosen candidates will also have to undergo an Australian Security Identification Card background check
