About the Role

Frost Roofing is on the lookout for an experiences and motivated Lead Roofer/Job Supervisor to take charge of on-site operations and lead a roofing crew with confidence. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can deliver quality work, solve problems on the go, and bring out the best in a team.

You’ll be the key link between our team on the tools and the office including direct contact with the Operations Manager – making sure jobs run smoothly, safely, and to the Frost Roofing standard.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise daily site operations and manage a team of roof plumbers and apprentices

· Liaise with builders, site managers, Operations Manager and internal office staff to keep jobs on track

· Ensure high-quality workmanship and safe work practices across all stages of the job

· Lead by example on the tools, including installations of metal roofing, fascia, guttering, downpipes, and flashings

· Problem-solve and manage site challenges with a calm, solution-focused attitude

· Keep jobs moving efficiently with a strong focus on timelines, budgets, and safety

· Provide mentorship and on-site training to apprentices and junior roofers

· Complete daily site check-ins, quality checks, and progress reporting

· Representing Frost Roofing with pride and professionalism

What You’ll Need

· Qualified Roof Plumber (Cert III in Roof Plumbing or equivalent via experience based)

· Proven experience leading roofing team or managing sites

· Strong understanding of construction processes and roofing systems

· Valid White card

· Working at heights ticket (preferred but not essential)

· Ability to follow systems and to make suggestions for improvements

· Exceptional communication and leadership skills

· Ability to read and interpret plans confidently

· High attention to detail and pride in your work

· Driver’s licence – Transport will be provided!

· A no-BS, team-first attitude
