Did you know not every dental practice knows how to best utilise an OHT or hygienist? Lots of practices have never worked with an OHT/hygienist before and have no experience with scheduling appointments, or how to ensure the dentist and OHT/hygienist are working together.

We are a busy regional practice located in Echuca, 2.5 hours north of Melbourne.
Echuca sits on the Murray River, so is perfect for outdoor activities like water sports and hiking. The town also has a great tourist scene, with a fantastic array of restaurants and cafes. We have vibrant sports clubs, a cinema, a range of retail stores and an historic port area. Echuca provides the perfect escape from the city, while still being within an easy drive to the centre of Melbourne.

What we have for you:
Our general practice has been in operation for over 50 years, is independent and privately run. We have all the modern equipment, including EMS airflow/Guided Biofilm Therapy, CBCT/OPG and recently installed ADEC chairs. Our current operators are booked for 3 months in advance, and you will be replacing an existing OHT.
We have had an OHT/hygienist for several years, and our patients are very comfortable seeing our hygiene department. Our practice enjoys great standing in the community, with a loyal patient base.
Our staff are very familiar with organising the appointment books to allow for minimal down time and a great flow to the day. We can also provide a great range of treatments, allowing every day to be as varied as you want it to be.
This is a full time role, but we are happy to be flexible (2-5 days). We offer very competitive remuneration.
The practice principal is more than happy to provide mentorship. We have worked with new/recent graduates before and have an established protocol for learning, and upskilling practitioners.
The practice also works with Jesse Green’s Practice Max practice management, providing further opportunity to develop your business and communication skills.

What we need from you:
The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to learn, is happy managing a busy, varied book while still escaping the rat race and enjoying all that regional Victoria has to offer.
The candidate must be able to work within our culture that focuses on teamwork and providing excellent treatment outcomes.
