Cloudland, Empire Hotel, Press Club, is seeking a hands-on full time cleaning manager with experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role involves both managing the cleaning team and actively participating in the cleaning processes.

Our food and beverage outlets operate 7 days a week with late night trade, The position requires a start time of 5am, Thursday – Monday.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively participate in and oversee the execution of cleaning tasks, ensuring top-quality service and adherence to health and safety standards.

Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the cleaning services department, including workforce scheduling, onboarding, recruitment, and training.

Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure the team follows company standards and policies.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their optimal use and maintenance.

Recruitment and training.

Physically fit working in a fast-paced environment

Conduct site inspections to guarantee service quality and compliance with client specifications.

Qualifications:

Solid experience in the cleaning or HVAC industry, with prior supervisory or leadership roles preferred.

Hands-on approach and willingness to participate in cleaning tasks.

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety practices within the cleaning industry.

Flexible work ethic and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and service.

Experience with carpet cleaning equipment is an advantage.

This is a multi-task role. You need to be experienced, flexible, competent, able to work without direct supervision & be physically capable of undertaking the tasks required.
