About the role

Brightstar Nursing Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This role will be based in Wollongong, Nowra and Batemans Bay, NSW and will involve providing catering support in an aged care setting.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving meals and refreshments to residents

Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment

Assisting with food preparation, including portioning, plating and garnishing

Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations

Providing exceptional customer service to residents

Supporting the catering team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a catering or food service role, preferably in an aged care or healthcare setting

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
