Fusion Care Services provides services to people with a disability across the Canberra region. We are looking for a few more people to join our team, in a range of roles across the Canberra, including providing support to people with disabilities in a care shared environment.

Currently we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic reliable individual who would be interested in all types of work to further develop their skills and build strong working relationships with people with disabilities. The participants would like to have a staff member in their team who likes fitness, movies, health, food, music, shopping, sports, cooking and animals. The person should bring a positive and energetic energy when start their shift.

Currently looking for a right candidate who has worked in a supported independent living environment, who would be able to provide shared care during shifts.

A range of shifts available during the week including 3 x sleepover shifts and weekends. Immediate start for the applicant who can do a variety of shifts and have flexibility throughout the week.

For the right candidate, a permanent part-time contract will be made available following a three-month probationary period.

To be successful, you will demonstrate the following:

Experience supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and epilepsy

Medication administration

Manual Handling

Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent

Mental health supports experience

First Aid Certificate

Completed NDIS Worker Orientation and infection control module (or ability to attain one)

Personal resilience along with passion and purpose

Demonstrated care and compassion to work with our clients

Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills to work with our clients to achieve their goals/outcomes

Current Driver’s License and own transport - (Essential)
