The Role:
We’re currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their precision, efficiency, and ability to deliver high-quality finishes on civil construction projects. You’ll be working across a variety of sites and projects, operating modern equipment and collaborating with a supportive, professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating excavators (5–30 tonne) with a strong focus on final trim work using GPS

Read and interpret plans and drawings

Carry out detailed earthworks, trenching, and grading to precise specifications

Perform daily pre start checks and basic machine maintenance

Work closely with site supervisors and ground crew to ensure project timelines and standards are met

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a final trim excavator operator in civil construction

High level of competency using GPS systems for fine grading

Experience with storm water installation

Excavator ticket

White Card and valid driver’s license (HR license desirable)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Safety-first mindset with sound knowledge of WHS procedures
