About the role
As the National WHS Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a strong safety culture across multiple national sites. You'll lead risk and compliance initiatives, drive continuous improvement through data and incident analysis, and provide guidance on WHS legislation.
This is a designated 2IC role, working closely with the National HSEQ Manager to support strategic direction, drive national consistency, and provide leadership across the safety function.
Champion a proactive, safety-first culture across the business.
Keep WHS policies, procedures, and tools up to date with legislation and best practices.
Monitor compliance across multiple jurisdictions and support risk management initiatives.
Lead risk assessments and maintain the national risk register.
Review incident investigations and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide actionable insights through regular safety reporting and trend analysis.
Drive the development and rollout of WHS training, policies, and safety alerts.
Coordinate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and stakeholder engagement.
Must-Have Qualifications and Experience:
2–3 years’ experience in a Work Health and Safety (WHS) role, ideally in a national or multi-site context.
Proven experience in risk management and hazard control.
Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety legislation in VIC, NSW, QLD, SA, and WA.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and lead.
Proficiency in data analytics and project management
Ability to travel interstate as required.
Nice to haves
Experience in the transport or logistics industry, with knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Law.
Experience in Workcover.
Certificate IV/Diploma in WHS or equivalent WHS qualification.
