We are seeking experienced Qualified Spray Painters t o join the team. This is a tremendous opportunity offering:

Immediate start

40 hours per week

Overtime when required

Pay rate start at $ 56.71 per hr day shift ordinary time

Pay rate starts at $ 66.92 per hr afternoon shift

Day shift 7am-3.30pm

Afternoon Shift 4pm-12.30am

Day or Afternoon Shift

You'll be part of a team that assembles Australia's leading truck icon Kenworth Trucks

We require Qualified Spray Painters to work in Painting of the Australian Icon trucks.

Our client Kenworth is based in the Bayswater area, is a leading manufacturer of premium Commercial trucks sold around the world

They are locally designed, engineered and manufactured in Australia to meet the world's toughest applications and is the heavy-duty market leader.

You have an opportunity to work with a leading supplier that supports our transport industry

We are seeking experienced Qualified Spray Painters to join the team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting through washing, scraping, sanding, or other methods.

Mix and match paint and finishes to achieve desired colours and textures.

Masking areas not to be painted

Sanding and preparing vehicle surfaces

Colour matching and mixing paints

Touch-ups and polishing

Ensure a clean and safe working environment by following all safety policies.

Your Profile

We are looking for people who have the following skills / attributes:

Must have Cert III Automotive Refinishing Technology or Cert III in Aircraft Surface Finishing or Cert III in Automotive Vehicle Body ( The qualification will be sighted at the time of interview)

Able to pass a Pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol screening

Possess a strong work motivation

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to meet targets and deadlines

Experience automotive or heavy Vehicle painting is highly regarded
