The Role

Toll is offering an exciting opportunity for experienced MC Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our high-performing teams in the Pilbara, operating out of Karratha and Port Hedland.

Choose between a site-based 7/7 FIFO role or take on the challenge and variety of a floater driver position-also 7/7 FIFO from Perth-with the added benefit of an extra hourly allowance. You'll be responsible for the safe delivery of bulk fuel throughout the region, operating double, triple, and quad road trains in a safety-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Double, Triple & Quad Road Train work
• Delivery of bulk diesel to remote locations within the Pilbara
• Travelling within Regional Western Australia servicing key mining and industrial clients. Including in and around the Pilbara region, based out of the Karratha & Port Hedland Fuels and Gases branches.
• Furthering the safety culture within the business
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailers before departure, ensuring that connections, and all safety equipment is in place and functioning
• Complete and maintain accurate records of deliveries, including dates, quantities, any incidents and maintenance reporting
• Maintaining high performance in all aspects of the role with a customer service focus

Skills & Experience

• Strongly encourage female applicants to apply
• Current MC licence Unrestricted
• Current Dangerous Goods Licence
• WA Fatigue Management Certificate
• Safe Load Pass (not essential)
• Able to obtain a Current Commercial Vehicle Drivers Medical
• National Police Clearance: Capability to secure a clean police background check
• Understanding of Road Transport Legislation: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
• Rio Tinto or Fortescue Inductions advantageous
• Experience with Triple and Quad Road Trains: Proven experience driving large multi-train configurations
• Responsible Driving History: A strong record of safe and responsible driving
• Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge
