About the Role

We’re looking for a Leading Hand Apprentice to work directly alongside our Director or one of our senior Foremen. This is a hands-on, high-exposure role ideal for someone eager to fast-track their career through mentorship, training, and real-world experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

You’ll be involved in a wide array of landscaping projects and exposed to all facets of construction. From intricate stonework to pool renovations, you’ll be learning the skills that define a true landscaping professional.

We use temporary labor hire for physically demanding weeks to ensure apprentices are focused on learning and skill development, not just heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

Under guided supervision, you will contribute to the delivery of a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Stonework

Carpentry – decks, pergolas, timber features

Retaining walls – masonry and timber

Outdoor kitchen construction

Garden lighting installation

Concreting

Planting, soil preparation, and drainage

Irrigation systems

Pool renovations

General landscaping duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is committed to growing with our business. Ideal candidates will have:

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

A valid driver’s licence and their own vehicle

Previous experience with power tools and basic construction techniques

A polite and respectful attitude, aligned with our company image

Good physical health for the demands of the role

Prior experience in landscape construction is highly regarded
