Due to continued growth, we are now seeking to appoint a senior accountant to assist with the following:

attending to compliance related activities, including the preparation of financial reports and tax returns for clients, reporting

providing quality technical and non-technical advice for clients

developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

working closely with the head of accounting in further growing this side of the business, taking a vested interest in taking over the taxation division and maturing to partner in due course

outsourcing and overseeing this work to the internal bookkeeper and outsource firms

The successful applicant will:

have completed an accounting related degree

be CA/CPA qualified

have a solid understanding of general accounting and tax principles

have previous experience in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns

work effectively both independently and in a team environment

have at least 5 years’ professional accounting and taxation experience

have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Xero and Class systems experience
