We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Accessory Fitters and Automotive Spray Painters, specialising in the fit-out of fleet vehicles. The role involves the installation of aftermarket accessories and electrical components to meet client specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with experience in auto electrics, vehicle customisation, or fleet vehicle preparation.

All positions require full-time availability Monday - Friday with start times varying between 5:00am and 7:00am.

Key Responsibilities:

Install a wide range of vehicle accessories (e.g., roof racks, tow bars, toolboxes, bull bars, beacons, reverse cameras, GPS units, and light bars).

Conduct vehicle wiring and electrical installations including dual battery systems, inverters, power outlets, and communication equipment.

Interpret wiring diagrams, fitting instructions, and technical documentation to ensure correct installation.

Troubleshoot and test all installed systems for functionality, safety, and compliance.

Perform basic mechanical modifications where necessary to accommodate accessories.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow workshop health and safety procedures.

Accurately document work performed and assist in quality control processes.

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a vehicle accessory fitter, auto technician, or auto electrician.

Proficiency in automotive electrical systems and wiring techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Manual driver’s license required.

Experience with fleet or commercial vehicle fit-outs is highly regarded.

*For spray painter role only: experience in similar role essential, although trade qualification not required
