Goodwin Aged Care Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Officer to help maintain the safety, functionality, and presentation of our village/facility. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a variety of tasks, and thrives in a supportive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out daily maintenance and minor repairs across the village/facility.

Maintain clean and well-presented grounds and common areas.

Manage and follow up on maintenance requests from staff and residents.

Coordinate and supervise contractors, including inductions and ensuring compliance.

Assist with room/event setup and basic fleet vehicle checks and upkeep.

Ensure safe waste disposal and report any safety hazards.

Maintain records and update the internal maintenance system.

Essential

First Aid Certificate (current)

Current Driver’s Licence

Experience in general property maintenance and repair

Strong organisational and time management skills

Basic computer literacy

Desirable

Trade qualifications (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, or electrical)

Experience working with seniors
