About the role

Momentum Group is looking for a competent Maintenance Officer / Handyperson to work in our group our Anytime Fitness gyms across Sydney.

You will be responsible for:

• Support the Club with all Maintenance issues as required for tenants and apartment building.
• General day to day repairs of in club issues; electrical, painting, basic repairs and plumbing issues
• Ordering materials, organize quotations on larger repairs alongside General Manager
• Trace & repair water leaks internal & external
• Install, remove and replace appliances when needed / required

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

• Previous experience on commercial buildings, with a good understanding of building operations
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• General knowledge on minor electrical, painting, basic repairs and plumbing issues.
• Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised
• Knowledge of WHS and safe work methods
• Willingness and pride to execute all tasks to the Momentum Group/Anytime Fitness standards
• A friendly, professional approach to tenants, guests and AF staff members, while carrying out your daily tasks is essential to your success in this role.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time position, so you must have full permanent working rights in Australia and be available to work full time hours.
