Macmahon is seeking an experienced HD Mechanic(s) to join our Perth Workshop in a full-time permanent OR Casual position based at the Perth Airport for an exciting Rebuild Project.

This project involves the rebuild of twelve CAT 793 Trucks over a 20-month period, commencing in September 2025. This role would have you involved in the rebuild process in the Perth Workshop (WAC) and subsequently travel with each asset to site to complete commissioning and address any outstanding work impacted by the tight schedule.

About the role
• Primarily based at the Perth Workshop (WAC) with regular travel to site as required by the project
• Workshop based hours will be Monday to Friday, 10 hours per shift
• Site based hours will be 12 hours per shift, for roughly 2-3 weeks at a time
• Highly competitive flat rates - up to $76 per hour
• The project will run for approximately 20 months
• Company vehicle provided

About you
• Relevant Trade Qualification (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology)
• Experience in rebuilding CAT 793C/D trucks
• Experience in Field Service would be beneficial
• Knowledge of CAT programs such as SIS, VIMS, ET
• Flexibility to be able to work in Perth and travel to site as required by the project
