About the Role and your responsibilities
In this exciting stage of growth, Ecosite are seeking an enthusiastic, tech savvy and forward-thinking Field Technician to join our team. This position is a great opportunity for someone seeking a fast-paced, dynamic role. this role will suit a forward-thinking individual, who thrives working both individually and as a team.
You will be responsible for the servicing of Ecosite facilities that support Victoria’s major infrastructure projects and events. This role is predominantly based on site across various construction projects and events, throughout Melbourne & surrounds.
Your role as an Ecosite Field Technician will consist of;
Safe and compliant operation of Water Ute for potable water deliveries to site.
Provide technical support and onsite response for service calls, breakdowns, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults of Ecosite facilities in the field.
Accurate record and data entry of servicing and repairs dockets.
Portable toilet deliveries and relocations.
Other responsibilities may include, but not be limited to cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of off hired assets in our yard, completing daily vehicle prestart checks and general cleanliness and upkeep of vehicles, adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures.
The ideal applicant will possess
Thorough working knowledge of mechanical principles and electrical systems is highly desirable
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems while ensuring accuracy of data entry
Building and maintaining a positive relationship/rapport with key stakeholders as you represent Ecosite out on site
Self-motivated individual with strong time-management skills and excellent communication
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to follow instructions
Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Requirements
Valid Victorian driver’s license (Heavy Rigid Driver License is an advantage)
Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
This role would suit an individual with strong exposure and experience on tier 1 construction projects. A strong understanding around site etiquette is highly desirable.
Benefits
Salary offered: $80,000 – $85,000 (plus superannuation) per year for the right candidate

Full Time Position Monday – Friday. Opportunity for overtime, some Saturday’s may be required.
Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
