About the role

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic and growing company? Our Town Fencing is seeking a motivated Store Sales & Warehouse Operator to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria. If you enjoy customer interaction, have great organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

You will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining our store's presentation, and supporting the efficient operations of our warehouse.

What you'll be doing

Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with product selection, order processing, and general inquiries

Assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and purchases in the store & over the phone.

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.

Maintain the store's visual merchandising and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organised

Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking of merchandise

Support the warehouse team with tasks such as order picking, packing, and shipping

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the home improvement or building supplies industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a well-organised and presentable store environment

Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse operations

A genuine passion for the home improvement and fencing industry

Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the business

Ability to lift and move heavy materials.

Basic computer literacy for sales transactions and inventory management.

Forklift license (preferred but not required – training can be provided).

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
