About the role

Arno Deli is looking for an enthusiastic Barista & front of house staff to join our thriving paninoteca in the heart of Newcastle, NSW. This is a casual position, offering flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages in a friendly and vibrant environment.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, teas and other beverages to customer specifications

Providing friendly and attentive customer service to all patrons

Restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the front-of-house area

Assisting with food preparation and service as required

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role within the hospitality industry

Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and an ability to craft high-quality beverages

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanour

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Food handling certificate or willingness to obtain one
