JV Recruitment are currently looking for an ongoing welderfor a prefab factory in New Gisborne. The project will be focusing on structural MIG welding. The successful candidate will help with essential structural welds involved in building prefab homes.

This is an immediate start position. To be considered for this role, you must have a Welding Cert 3, as you will have the final sign off on builds before they are sent out to site.

ON OFFER:

• $48 per hour + super
• Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
• Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
• On-going role

ROLE DUTIES:

• Structural MIG Welding
• To be able to weld all positions
• Working unsupervised
• Reading and Interpreting Engineering drawings
• Inspect your welds for integrity

Key requirements needed to apply:

• Welding Cert 3

• Experience in manufacturing welding (desirable)
