Inner West Passive Fire are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Protection Installers to join our growing team.

We are a Sydney based passive fire company specialising certification, inspections, installations and rectifications of passive fire systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

About the role
As a Passive Fire Technician, you’ll be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the effective installation, inspection, and maintenance of passive fire protection systems. With at least 2 years of experience in the industry, you’ll have the chance to continue your career growth and develop new skills through on-the-job training.

What you'll be doing

Install, repair and maintain a variety of passive fire protection systems including fire-rated sealants, fire collars and fire-rated dampers

Prepare detailed reports and documentation to demonstrate building fire safety compliance

Collaborate with construction teams, building owners and fire safety authorities to resolve non-compliant issues

Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest passive fire protection regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a passive fire technician or in a similar role

This role is either full-time employment or you could join our team as a sub-contractor (Hourly rate will be negotiated taking experience into consideration)

Strong work ethic and pride in your work

Honest, reliable, and committed to high standards of quality

A willingness to learn and develop your skills further

Commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace

An understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant fire safety standards

Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret complex technical drawing

Applicants must have

Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Current driver’s licence
