What You'll Do

You’ll support NDIS participants through the delivery of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) under the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework. Working in close partnership with participants, families, carers, and support teams, your role will include:

Conducting comprehensive functional behaviour assessments and observations

Developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans focused on skill-building and reducing restrictive practices

Monitoring and reviewing plans to ensure measurable outcomes and continuous improvement

Coaching and training family members and support staff to ensure consistent, person-centered implementation

Collaborating with allied health professionals and other stakeholders for a holistic approach

Promoting participant voice, autonomy, and strengths in every aspect of your work

You’ll work across a variety of settings including homes, schools, day programs, and in the community.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners and those working towards their NDIS registration. To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Education, Early Childhood or Applied Behaviour Analysis (or similar)

Alternatively, equivalent experience in behaviour support or disability services may be considered.

Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles.

Ability to conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.

Familiarity with restrictive practices and relevant legislation.

Knowledge of the PBS Capability Framework and NDIS guidelines.

Commit to ongoing professional development to maintain suitability.

Hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

A client-focused mindset, with a passion for helping others grow

Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills

A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Riverina region.
