Ever thought about relocating to Canada for work?
Do you have at least four and a half years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic working on mining equipment, including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr? Have you worked in the field attending to breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and fault-finding, or have you been based in a workshop handling rebuilds and maintenance? If so, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for people with Ultra-Class mining experience to join us for a minimum12-month relocation stint. Come be part of Mader Groups growing team of 180+ expats already using their trade to explore the world and gain international experience!

Roster: Explore with 2/2 & 3/3 rosters!

Pay Rates: Competitive pay: $70 - $75 AUD per hour

Location: Live anywhere in Canada — the choice is yours!

Visa & Flight: Fully paid visa & flight to Canada and home at the end of your contract

Tools Provided: All necessary tools are supplied

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualification as a Plant Mechanic or 4.5+ years’ experience with mobile plant equipment. (Have another trade qualification but have been working as a HDDM for the last 4.5 years? We still want to hear from you).

Minimum 6 months post-trade experience.

Experience with open-cut equipment including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr — *no prior experience with Mader required! If you have experience head straight to Canada

Willing to commit to at least 12 months in Canada.

Must have an Australian, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or Irish Passport.
