About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Southgate Pharmacy in Sylvania, NSW 2224. This is a 12 month contract role, offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our local community.

What you'll be doing

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently using Z Software.

Provide pharmaceutical advice and counsel to patients on the safe and effective use of their medications

Monitor patient medication regimens and identify potential issues or interactions

Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

Support the pharmacy team in day-to-day operations and inventory management

What we're looking for

Registered Pharmacist with a current license to practice in Australia

Minimum 1 year experience in a community pharmacy or hospital setting

Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medication management, and patient-centred care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and other healthcare providers

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role

Adaptability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

What we offer

At Southgate Pharmacy, we are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment. In addition to a competitive remuneration package. $55 per hour plus Super plus All added Benefits. Minimum 38 hours per week.
