Seeking expressions of interest for experienced Underground Heavy Diesel Fitter for various sites across QLD and possibility of PNG in the future

To succeed in this role, you will:

Have a mechanical trade qualification;

Have experience working underground on a range of complex mechanical plant.

Be an exceptional team member with a can-do attitude

Hold an absolute commitment to safety and safe working practices

Demonstrated mine site experience working on underground hard rock equipment

Conducting routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on underground mining equipment and machinery.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.

Collaborating with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs

Assisting with equipment installations and modifications

Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Flights out of Brisbane or Sunshine coast, meals accommodation, all PPE provided &

Super on all hours worked.

Sandvik drill experience is highly regarded, as well as general all round knowledge of Sandvik, cat, epiroc and various ancillary equipment.

Options for sub- contractors

Subbies paid $100 to $110+GST an hour

Casual Employees $85 to $90

Even time rosters with flexibility to work extra if needed
