About the Role:
Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS) is a contemporary, evidence-based service delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care. Services are provided directly and in partnership with community organisations and other government and non-government providers, with active involvement from consumers, families, and carers in planning and delivery. Care is delivered across various settings including hospitals, community centres, detention centres, and residential treatment facilities. The Clinical Development Nurse (CDN) plays a key role in supporting clinical and professional standards in mental health nursing, working collaboratively to promote safe, high-quality care and professional development across the division under the leadership of the Office of the Director of Nursing.
