ABOUT US

Digital Dental Laboratories is a South East Queensland based dental laboratory servicing the wider dental community. We create quality restorations and dental prosthetics. We supply clinical and technical services and are moving to a new purpose built facility based in Coolangatta. If you want to work in the Gold Coast and are looking for a challenge and growth, we are looking for another team member in our dynamic team at our Tweed Heads Lab Site.

We have a team of 12 technicians who work across our two sites in Southport and Tweed Heads. However this position is for the Tweed Heads location. We are a really fun team that gets along really well and are looking for another person to come join.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Digital AND Analog Removable Technician Successful applicant must be self-motivated, and possess a professional and positive attitude, as well as the ability to work to instructions and as a team to achieve great outcomes. We are seeking a Digital Dental Technician who is knowledgeable in chrome design and removable pros and eager to work with metal 3D printing technologies.

Reporting to the Lab Manager and working in conjunction with a wider team of dental professionals the ideal candidate will possess skills in:

All aspects of the plaster room work

Full workflow of acrylic partial and full dentures

Design chrome partial dentures using digital CAD software (not necessary but an advantage)

Design full and partial dentures using digital CAD software (not necessary but an advantage)

Collaborate on the digital workflow from model analysis through to mill and print-ready files

Operate and troubleshoot metal 3D printing systems (experience a bonus; training can be provided)

Work closely with production and finishing teams to ensure optimal results

Providing non-technical duties within the laboratory as directed by the Lab Manager

Setting teeth

Polishing acrylic dentures

General acrylic technician duties also

Proven experience with removable pros work

Strong CAD skills (3Shape, Exocad, or similar)

Enthusiasm for digital dentistry

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

A proactive attitude and willingness to grow with us

A kind hardworking technician who is excited by working in a larger team and learning new things
