Viking Events are specialists in the Australian event hire industry. What sets us apart is the high level of service and delivery we provide for our clients when hiring toilets, showers and hydration solutions. We work on major events and festivals including Vailo V8s, City Christmas Pageant, Harvest Rock, Womad & the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

This is not solely a driver role.

Your time in this role is split between:

Preparing and repairing equipment in the yard

Loading and driving delivery vehicles (including tilt trays, vacuum trucks and trucks with large trailers)

Setting up and QAing equipment on site

Eventually leading event setups

This is often not a glamorous role and there are some long hard days of work involved - especially during event season, but you'll have plenty of laughs, get paid well and get the ability to work a lot of overtime to earn more.

The plus side is being part of an exciting and fun festival and event industry and getting access to major events and amazing international music acts while getting paid.

Key responsibilities

Delivery, set up and collection of portable toilets and toilet buildings across Adelaide

Repairing and cleaning equipment in our yard so that it’s in good condition and ready for hire

Interacting with customers in a professional way

Working during live festivals and events

Helping maintain an organised yard and work area
