Scott Lovatt Container Cartage is a fast growing transport company that has been around for 10 years and are now in need for skilled Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. The days required are Monday to Friday day shift with potential overtime.

Your Duties Include

Load/unload a range of freight from steel bundles to coils & flatpacks.

Load/unload trucks with all sorts of freight with forklifts up to 16tonne.

Some manual handling (cleaning containers / prepping containers for unpack)

Follow safe operating procedures and comply with company policy.

To be considered for this role

Hold a current Forklift License (LF) for a minimum of 2 years with excellent Forklift skills.

Have experience loading/unloading various kinds of freight out of containers (Steel products are advantageous)

Be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team

Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Have a commitment to safe work practices

Be physically fit (at times you will be required to chain goods to assist the forklift operators)

Job Type: Casual - 3 month probation period followed by review for permanency

Salary: $34 per hour

Schedule:

8-10+ hour shift (depending on work load)

Morning shift (6am-2:30pm) with variation

Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
